Market Development Specialist Role

We are looking for a passionate Market Development Specialist responsible for developing sales of Bioreactor & Automation products in India SWA region. Reporting to the India SWA Marketing Manager, this role entails significant field-based activity (up to 50-70% time).

Key Responsibilities:

• Customer Engagement: Build and maintain relationships with key customers and stakeholders, understand their needs, gather market insights, and conduct customer interviews, surveys, and focus groups specifically for MICRO BIOREACTOR (M2P) and Automation products.
• Market Analysis: Conduct in-depth market research and analysis to identify target markets, customer needs, and competitive landscape for MICRO BIOREACTOR (M2P) and Automation products.
• Strategic Planning: Develop strategic plans to penetrate new markets and drive business growth for MICRO BIOREACTOR (M2P) and Automation products.
• Sales Support: Provide support to the sales team by developing sales tools, conducting product training, and assisting with customer presentations and demonstrations.
• Technical Support: Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to customers using MICRO BIOREACTOR (M2P) applications.
• Application Training: Conduct training sessions and workshops for customers to ensure thorough understanding and effective utilization of MICRO BIOREACTOR (M2P) applications.

Minimum Qualifications:

• MSc/MTech in Biological Sciences, Chem Eng, or Biotechnology.
• At least 10+ years of extensive Technical/Applications experience in an international environment or a Doctoral degree in the field with 0-5 years of experience.
• Strong knowledge of Fermentation, Bioprocess (Upstream & Downstream), and awareness of market competition.
• Adept in presenting complex workflows involving centrifuges, liquid handling systems, and microbioreactors.
• Proven problem-solving skills based on analysis of multiple information sources.
• Strong cultural awareness to navigate working across countries.
• Good understanding of business operations and financial aspects.
• Strong interpersonal skills, capable of working independently with minimal guidance, and supporting less experienced colleagues.
• Self-motivated with a readiness for field-based activities.
