Job Description

esure boasts a strong deterministic culture supported by data. As a Data Scientist, you will facilitate the adoption of new MarTech and be responsible for scaling our A/B testing, attribution, and campaign management capabilities to enhance CRM and our customer journeys.

What you'll do:

  • Introduce a 'data science' approach to our digital marketing teams, deploying machine learning in these areas to reinforce the data opportunities.
  • Analyze customer & CRM activities and deliver actionable insights and recommendations to senior colleagues.
  • Collaborate closely with our advertising partners, oversee measurement analytics and ensure best practice integration and utilization of tools like Braze & Segment.
  • Work with the digital marketing team to define requirements and guide the implementation of insightful service and automation tools.
  • Execute predictive analytics and collaborate with Data Science for product prototyping of segmentations and next best action tools using Python.
  • Use our cloud-native infrastructure and your knowledge about experimentation, performance marketing, AdTech and CRM to enhance platform capabilities for effective campaign delivery across an increasing number of channels.

Qualifications

We'd love for you to have:

  • Data scientist credentials combined with a background in Marketing or experience working with Digital / Marketing teams.
  • An understanding of the requirements for delivering top-tier data science and evidence of commercial benefits that enhance service for our customers
  • Experience working in product roles and large-scale A/B testing.
  • Solid experience in visualization approaches, presenting to non-technical audiences, and using tools such as Tableau, PowerBI, DBT.
  • Proficiency in R/Python toolkits, preferably with experience working with data pipelines.
  • Proficiency with SQL and NoSQL databases.
  • Experience with Notebooks (or equivalent) and version control (e.g., Git).

Bonus points:

  • Any experience with Spark/Databricks.
  • Any experience deploying ML at scale via APIs (eg. fastapi).
