About the Team
The Payments Marketing Analytics & Insights team is dedicated to enhancing marketing strategy, optimizing campaign performance, and driving revenue growth through data analytics and research. As a member of our Strategic Data Modeling team, you will partner with marketers, strategists, and other business units to shape our short-term and long-term strategic initiatives using analytical rigor, modeling expertise, and creative problem-solving.
Job Responsibilities
- Strategic Modeling: Develop and maintain advanced financial, statistical, and predictive models to analyze ongoing programs and identify new marketing investment opportunities. Examples include marketing and segment sizing, campaign value estimation, LTV modeling, next best product, and revenue curve modeling.
- Data Analytics: Conduct exploratory data analysis to uncover marketing insights from complex industry and product datasets. Present these findings in a clear and actionable manner to stakeholders.
- Scorecard Development: Design and implement scorecards to assess program performance, focusing on metrics such as acquisition, engagement, and sales enablement, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
- Data Visualization: Create compelling visualizations, including presentations, dashboards, and scorecards, to effectively communicate insights to non-technical stakeholders.
- Data Integration: Collaborate with the data team to ensure accurate and consistent integration of external and internal data sources for marketing analyses, streamlining data transfer for operational efficiency.
- Analytics Innovation & Thought Leadership: Stay updated with industry trends and analytics best practices to grow the team's capabilities. Contribute to building new data capabilities like Media Mix Modeling, Multi-touch Attribution Modeling, and AI and Machine Learning Integration.
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Finance, or related fields
- At least 4 years of relevant work experience in data science or analytics roles
- Strong proficiency in data manipulation and statistical analysis using Alteryx, SQL, Python, or similar tools
- Proven ability to translate abstract business questions into quantitative evaluations
- Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills (skills test to be administered)
- Experience in financial modeling, digital marketing, and customer behavior analysis
- Strong communication skills to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Ability to collaborate across teams to build consensus and influence action
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
- Master’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Finance, or related fields
- Previous experience in a strategic role within a data-driven organization
- Highly organized and able to prioritize multiple tasks
