Job Description
Embark on an exciting thesis journey in the field of biomedical imaging. This project aims to utilize generative AI and its foundational models that learn from extensive datasets in a self-supervised way. You will dive into the world of fluorescence microscopy image analysis, a critical area for both diagnostics and research.
Your tasks will include:
- Conducting comprehensive literature reviews at the crossroads of AI and biomedical imaging.
- Designing and developing a multimodal text-image AI model.
- Evaluating your model's effectiveness and handling large image datasets.
- Contributing significantly to a powerful area of research that saves lives.
Qualifications
Education: Currently pursuing Bachelor’s or higher in Machine Learning, Bioinformatics, or a related field.
Experience and Knowledge: Skillful in Python, with a background in programming projects. Experience in designing and implementing machine learning models, with a bonus for knowledge in computer vision.
Personality and Working Practice: Highly motivated and self-sufficient.
Languages: Proficiency in both German and English.
Additional Information
Start Date: Flexible, based on mutual agreement.
Duration: 9 months commitment expected.
