About the Mechatronics Internship Role
We are pleased to offer an exciting opportunity for a Mechatronics Intern to become part of our dynamic, agile team. This role is crucial in addressing some of the most significant challenges in medical technology today. Through this internship, you will gain invaluable hands-on experience, working alongside our expert robotics team to develop and test software crucial for robotic units.
Key Responsibilities:
- Engage in sophisticated software and hardware integration problem solving and debugging.
- Carry out system testing, data collection, and analysis on complex robotic systems.
- Understand and implement robotics and controls algorithms.
- Design and develop testing fixtures and setups to evaluate system performance.
Who You Are
Ideal candidates will be actively pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field with a focus on Dynamic Systems and Control. You should have a keen interest in gaining hands-on experience with robotic manipulators, from kinematics to embedded systems. We value individuals who can work independently, tackle challenging issues, and thrive in a fast-paced start-up environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Python for rapid prototyping.
- Ability to work collaboratively and efficiently with minimal supervision.
- Strong analytical skills and a passion for innovation.
