We are on the lookout for a dynamic ML Engineer focused on Customer Projects (ML CE) to drive the deployment of LLM across various industries and aid in our top-line growth. You'll engage closely with enterprises and startups, guiding them through the thrilling innovation projects involving GenAI adoption. As one of our pioneering ML CEs in the U.S., you'll play a crucial role in establishing Mistral’s footprint across diverse sectors, beginning with Financial Services.

Role Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical guidance and best practices for prompting, fine-tuning, and deploying our models tailored to customer use cases.
• Maintain regular communication with the product and technical teams, providing feedback and suggestions for improvements.
• Collaborate closely with the infrastructure, data science, and product teams to ensure successful deployment of customized products and use cases, particularly for on-premises customers.
• Work alongside the sales team to advance the sales pipeline, offering technical expertise and insights when needed.

Ideal Candidate Profile

• Degree in computer science, applied AI, applied mathematics, or data science.
• 5-10 years of experience as a machine learning or deep learning engineer.
• A passion for AI, with a drive to stay ahead of industry trends.
• Strong skills in Python and software engineering.
• Experience in MLOps and deploying Machine Learning use cases at scale.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to simplify complex technical concepts.

Desirable Skills

• 2+ years of experience as a Customer Engineer, Forward Deployed Engineer, Sales Engineer, or Solutions Architect.
• Experience building LLM applications, RAG, or NLP products using Python (Langchain, LlamaIndex, SpaCy, etc.).
