Role Overview: SW Engineer Responsibilities

As an SW Engineer, you will:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and optimize large-scale distributed software services.
  • Engage in all phases of software development from integration to deployment, embodying a DevOps culture.
  • Utilize big data to improve functionality and customer experience across highly scalable applications.
  • Ensure reliable model performance and data integrity throughout the deployment and monitoring process.
  • Explore innovative approaches in machine learning, NLP, and AI to maintain our competitive edge.

Essential Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field, with experience in software engineering and coding languages such as C, C++, C#, Java, or Python.
  • Experience in Data Science, Generative AI, and proficiency in designing distributed systems.
  • Knowledge of transformer and diffuser-based models, cloud platforms, and a solid background in Agile methodologies.

Other requirements include the ability to pass Microsoft’s security screenings and a preferred familiarity with DevOps cultures and live service maintenance.

Preferred Experience:

  • Developing and maintaining Machine Learning and LLM solutions.
  • Advanced troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in complex environments.
  • Strong statistical, analytical, and collaborative capabilities, with a proactive approach to learning and innovation.
