Job Overview:

This role within the Consumer Brands sector focuses on transforming and integrating consumer brands into an enterprise model to facilitate seamless analytical integrations. As a part of DAIS - EDL (Enterprise Data Lake), you will join a centralized platform serving all PayPal Inc companies, optimizing data accessibility for analytics teams.

Key Qualifications:

• Strong background in Data Engineering
• Proficiency in programming, with a preference for Java and/or Python
• Experience with cloud technologies and Hadoop systems, particularly Spark

Role Responsibilities:

Your expertise will help in designing and implementing solutions that impact the business directly. Daily tasks include:

• Leading data projects across Consumer Brands
• Building robust data pipelines for raw data ingestion
• Modeling and transforming data to fit enterprise needs
• Integrating new consumer brands into the existing framework

What You'll Need:

A thorough understanding of Data Modelling Concepts and architecture, along with experience in handling both structured and unstructured data sets. Skillful in ETL Development, leveraging big data technologies and frameworks for data ingestion and processing. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are essential.
