Role Overview: Network AI Engineer

As a Network AI Engineer at Meta, you'll be instrumental in designing and deploying innovative network architectures and solutions that support our ambitious goals. This role is perfect for a visionary who is ready to impact the world by enhancing how our global network operates and evolves.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement cutting-edge network architectures.
• Drive technical decisions to enhance our networking landscape.
• Enhance alerting and monitoring systems alongside developing process automation through scripting.
• Optimize network configurations in a diverse multi-vendor, multi-protocol environment.
• Contribute to the scale of Meta’s global data center and network footprint.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve network issues while implementing long-term remediation strategies.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Five years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in a relevant computer-related occupation.
• Proficient in programming languages such as Python, C, C++, or Go.
• Deep knowledge of TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, NTP, Traffic Engineering, and other networking protocols and technologies.
• Hands-on experience in configuring and maintaining network devices and systems across multiple vendors like Arista, Juniper, Cisco, and others.
• Strong understanding of Linux OS and networking nuances.

Compensation and Benefits
