Join Our Team as a Network/Data Engineer

We are looking for an experienced Network/Data Engineer to join Advanced Technology Leaders, Inc. This role is crucial for managing and enhancing our network and data communication systems.

Key Responsibilities:

As a Network/Data Engineer, your primary role will involve:

• Troubleshooting and configuring network hardware including Cisco Routers, Switches, Call Manager, VoIP phones, Cisco ASA/Palo Alto security appliances, and TACLANE devices.
• Establishing and maintaining servers, UPS, patch panels, media converters, and Avocent KVM switches.
• Handling installation and operation of diverse cabling systems including Ethernet, fiber, and coaxial cables.
• Performing cryptographic key management and preventive hardware maintenance following vendor specifications.

Required Education and Experience:

Applicants must have:

• At least five (5) years of direct experience in a network data engineering role.
• Strong proficiency in MS Office Products like Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Access.

Required Certifications:

Immediate certifications include:

• IAT Level I, II, or III as per DoDM 8570 requirements (details at https://cyber.mil).
• CCNA certification.
• Within 6 months of hire, a Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) Security or Enterprise certification is required.

Work Environment and Physical Demands:

This full-time position requires a professional office setup and is physically accommodating, with typical demands including:

• Light lifting of up to 30 pounds for occasional equipment handling.
• Varying amounts of sitting, standing, and walking, with the necessity to do so for extended periods.

Job Logistics:

No travel is required for this role. Regular working hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., excluding Federal holidays and other government closure days.

Work Authorization and Clearance:

Candidates must be U.S. citizens and capable of maintaining a US Government issued TS clearance with SCI eligibility.
