We are currently seeking a motivated Nonprofit and Association Senior Data Specialist to enhance our Nonprofit Relationship Management (NRM) Solutions practice.

Position Overview

As a Data Migration Specialist, you will be integral to the smooth transition of data from legacy systems to cutting-edge platforms such as the iMIS Engagement Management System, Salesforce Nimble AMS, and Salesforce Nonprofit Cloud. Your role will involve collaborating with diverse teams to plan, execute, and oversee data migration projects, ensuring data integrity and minimizing system downtime.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Data Analysis: Evaluate and analyze existing data structures to identify migration requirements and address potential risks.
  • Data Mapping: Lead the development of data mapping strategies and documentation of data transformation rules.
  • Migration Planning: Work alongside project stakeholders to develop comprehensive migration plans, detailing timelines, resource allocation, and risk mitigation strategies.
  • Data Extraction and Transformation: Execute robust data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes.
  • Data Validation: Conduct extensive validation checks to maintain the highest data quality post-migration.
  • Troubleshooting: Resolve data migration problems, ensuring timely escalation to relevant teams when needed.
  • Documentation: Maintain meticulous documentation of migration procedures and outcomes.
  • Performance Optimization: Enhance the efficiency of data migration processes, focusing on reducing downtime during client data transitions.
  • Collaboration: Maintain close coordination with IT teams, data analysts, and business stakeholders to align with project goals.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
  • Proven experience in data management and migration, with relevant certifications being advantageous.
  • Proficiency with ETL tools, SQL, and data modeling.
  • Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to effectively collaborate in team settings and meet project deadlines.
  • Knowledge of data privacy and security best practices, with a bonus for experience in the nonprofit sector.

Compensation Range: $84,600 - $169,700
