Join us as a Next-Gen Hard-Disk Drive (HDD) Automation Engineer and be at the forefront of the Fourth Industrial Revolution (4IR) within the HDD industry. Take this opportunity to lead various automation projects that revolutionize HDD manufacturing and engage the Gen-Z workforce.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Collaborate with functional teams to understand business and operational challenges.
• Identify opportunities for robotic process automation (RPA) to enhance manufacturing processes, boost productivity, and maintain product quality.
• Work with team members and SMEs to develop, test, and deploy new automation solutions.
• Implement RPA to reduce routine tasks, enhance operational flexibility, and streamline processes.

Qualifications

Required:

• Master’s degree in Mechanical, Robotic Automation, Electrical, Electronics, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or related IT fields.
• Proficiency in C/C++/Python programming languages is essential.
• Experience with Autonomous Mobile Robots (AMRs) is an advantage.
• Skilled in 2D/3D drawing, CAD, SolidWorks, and animation.
• Proficient in English communication and writing.
• Excellent teamwork and presentation skills, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.

Preferred:

• Advanced skills in Java, Visual C++ .Net, C#, Python, XML, and JSON.
• Experience in manufacturing/production with machine learning, robotics, or other cutting-edge technologies.
• Passion for the Fourth Industrial Revolution (4IR) and a desire to make a global impact.
• Mechanical/electronic and electrical background.
• Experience with Linux and web development (Backend/Frontend) is beneficial.
• Proficiency in SolidWorks for mechanical design and simulation.

Skills

• Skilled in Automation Software Development.
• Strong understanding and practical knowledge of SolidWorks and technical drawing.
• Proficient in generative AI and machine learning software development.
