About the Role

LinQuest is seeking a dedicated Operations Research Analyst/NGTS (Next Generation Threat System) Modeler. In this role, you will enhance the Department of Defense (DoD)'s capabilities in mission-level modeling, simulation, and analysis (MS&A) of intricate and adaptive kill webs. You'll be an integral part of a diverse team that includes military experts, analysts, and modelers, who collaborate on sponsor-directed research and innovation.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Participating in integrated product teams alongside government and partner stakeholders.
  • Developing experimental designs, setting key metrics for simulations, analyzing results, and presenting your findings to senior DoD leaders.
  • Creating and refining models and simulations for high-level military decision-making, concept development, and resource management.

A current Top Secret clearance with Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) eligibility is required for this position.

Required Skills & Experience

To be considered for this position, you should have:

  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Operations Research, Applied Mathematics, Statistics, or a related technical field.
  • At least 5-7 years of professional experience with a proven ability to apply advanced mathematical and statistical concepts.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Python, JupyterLab, or R.
  • Excellent communication skills and the capacity to work effectively on a dynamic team.
  • Experience in developing simulation models to support executive decision-making.
  • US Citizenship and eligibility for Special Access Program (SAP).

Preferred Skills & Experience

Additional qualifications include:

  • Experience with Design of Experiments and data mining/seeding techniques.
  • Hands-on experience in NGTS, AFSIM, or similar mission-level M&S frameworks.
