Outcomes Research Analyst/Consultant, Real World Insights

Responsibilities • Conduct work related to the HEOR business areas (longitudinal retrospective study using internal or external big data, longitudinal prospective observational study, cross-sectional survey of patients/healthcare provider/or payers, patient reported outcome report, etc) • Work under supervision, independently and/or as part of a project team on defined tasks • Participate in business development/internal initiatives i.e. produce initial drafts of proposals based on client RFP and supporting information, participate in internal disseminations and make oral presentations to IQVIA colleagues • Project management/client liaison including client management tasks, attend client and other external meetings and presentations of own research/analysis • Develop, review, implement and execute prospective or retrospective outcome research protocols, statistical analysis plans and reports • Undertake local data sourcing, searching, collection and generation and produce support materials for completed economic models, develop analysis plan, contribute to the development/adaptation of complex health economic models • Draft, revise, submit and present abstracts, posters and manuscripts for publication/ conference proceedings based on outcome research or economic models. Assist in the submission process Minimum Qualifications • A minimum of 1 year of experience in Outcomes research analysis using claim data and EMR data • Masters degree or higher in Statistics or Epidemiology, with experience in analyzing claim data and EMR data (at least one research project or publication) • Understanding of the Korean healthcare system including dynamics of the pharmaceutical industry • Demonstrable analytical, interpretive and problem-solving skills • Preference given to those familiar with statistical programs such as SAS, R, Python • Good English communication skills are required • Job level can be considered according to experience Additional Qualifications • Excellent analytical and project management skills including presentations, meeting and workshop facilitation, business and report writing • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with others in and across the organization to accomplish team goals • Strong capability in managing priorities to meet deadlines while maintaining consistently high-quality outcomes IQVIA is a leading global provider of advanced analytics, technology solutions and clinical research services to the life sciences industry.
