About the Role

We at Scale AI are excited to enhance our team with a skilled Platform Engineer for our cutting-edge Scale Generative AI Platform (SGP). This enterprise-grade platform revolutionizes AI deployment across multiple industries by offering a robust suite of APIs tailored for knowledge retrieval, inference, and evaluation.

As a Platform Engineer, you will play an instrumental role in constructing and managing efficient, scalable pipelines and infrastructure that ensure our software solutions are both maintainable and optimally deployed.

Your expertise will be crucial in developing a multi-cloud deployment infrastructure, especially focusing on AWS, while also harnessing your experience with Azure and GCP. Be ready to engage in dynamic tasks from software distribution and pipeline construction to version control and overall system maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Architect and implement cloud solutions using Terraform.
• Drive the design, implementation, and support of foundational platforms and systems.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to refine requirements and ensure our infrastructure aligns with business goals.
• Facilitate multi-cloud deployments and directly interact with customers to integrate solutions in varied environments.
• Exhibit excellent communication skills, simplifying complex technical details for non-technical stakeholders.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

• Over 4 years of engineering experience post-graduation.
• Proven capability in software development and comprehension of distributed systems and cloud platforms.
• Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies like Kubernetes, Docker, and AWS Step Functions.
• Adeptness in programming with Python and infrastructure as code via Terraform.
• Familiarity with major cloud providers, with a strong preference for AWS, Azure, and GCP.

Compensation and Benefits:

At Scale AI, we offer competitive salaries (range $160,000—$225,600 in San Francisco), equity options, and a comprehensive benefits package.
