Exciting Opportunity: Postdoctoral Fellow in Computational Oncology

The Tansey lab at MSK is seeking talented Postdoctoral Fellows to join a highly collaborative and innovative program in Computational Oncology. We focus on developing advanced data science and machine learning methods to tackle critical challenges in cancer research. Core Skills & Abilities

  • Lead research questions spanning bayesian statistics, graphical models, causal inference, active learning, spatial modeling, and deep generative models.
  • Manage multiple projects involving complex biological and medical data analysis such as multi-omics, ex vivo drug screens, patient treatment histories, and spatial profiling of cancer tissues.
  • Create novel computational methods to drive collaborative projects with high translational impact.

Key Qualifications

  • Ph.D. holder or near completion in statistics, machine learning, computational biology, data science, or a related field (computer science, physics, biostatistics, bioinformatics).
  • Proven research track record in relevant fields.
  • No advanced biology or medicine knowledge required for candidates with strong quantitative backgrounds.

Pay Range: $55,439 – $100,940
