Power BI Analyst

As a Business Intelligence PowerBI Developer, you will interact with multiple stakeholders within the corporation to gather, arrange, scrutinize, and distribute a significant volume of information with exceptional attention to detail and precision. You will have the chance to utilize data to direct business decisions, compose SQL queries, carry out data mining, and visualize techniques. You will supply vital understanding into our organization's performance and whether we are in line with our strategic objectives.

What You'll Do:

• Produce / derive data from our BI databases to facilitate deep-dive activities.
• Give priority to, optimize, and provide timely updates for metrics.
• Automate reports and tools using a blend of SQL, Excel.
• Cooperate with stakeholders to comprehend business difficulties and provide data/analysis to facilitate project progression.
• Discover trends and correlations through data mining and analysis to formulate insights that can enhance the business and aid in making effective decisions.

• Create dashboards and tools that will enable our team and cross-functional partners to self-service their data needs whenever feasible.
• Analyze distinct operational data to discover new and profound insights that bring value to our customers
• Employ Power BI and experiment with infographics to make our abundant data as actionable as possible
• Collaborate and innovate with our data science team to unlock new value drivers from our data

Requirements

What You’ll Bring

Mandatory

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or a similar technical field

• 5 years of Business Intelligence or Data Analytics experience – experience with Snowflake (preferred) and Microsoft Power BI required
• 4+ years’ experience working with BI tools or any data-specific role with a solid knowledge of database management, data modeling, business intelligence, SQL querying, data warehousing, and online analytical processing
• Comprehensive understanding and experience with Microsoft BI stacks such as Power Pivot, SSIS, SSRS, and SSAS.
• Experience using pyspark to parse, structure, and transform data

Preferable

• Strong analytical skills and ability to delve into dashboards and queries
• Powerful communication, organizational and interpersonal skills
• Ability to multitask and manage various priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Experience working at a rapidly expanding tech start-up / B2B SaaS
