What You Will Do

  • Collaborate with Client Services, Engineering, and Research and Development (R&D) to ensure software quality for each release.
  • Document testing plans and results for each release in coordination with engineering and R&D teams.
  • Develop, maintain, and manage advanced reporting, analytics, dashboards, and other BI solutions.
  • Perform data analysis and validation.
  • Work with stakeholders to identify business requirements and deliver comprehensive BI solutions.
  • Ensure compliance with all Milliman-required Quality Risk Management requirements.

What We Are Looking For

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in fields such as Computer Science, Information Technology, or Data Visualization.
  • 2-3 years of related experience.
  • Proven experience with Power BI and other BI technologies. Proficiency in DAX, SQL, and Power Query is a plus.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to organize and analyze significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Expertise in queries and presenting findings in compelling visuals.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of healthcare analytics platforms and environments, including Graphical User Interfaces, Batch, and APIs.
  • Experience with Java and other programming languages is an advantage.
  • Proven expertise in using Microsoft Office applications, including Excel and pivot tables.

Location

This position is based at the Milliman office in Hartford, Connecticut. While local candidates are preferred for onsite team meetings, we also provide an option to work remotely from anywhere within the US.

Compensation

The salary range for this role is $72,000 to $142,000, depending on various factors such as education, relevant work experience, qualifications, skills, certifications, and location.
