Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Power BI Developer to design, develop, support, and maintain advanced business intelligence (BI) products. In this role, you will rapidly create and implement reporting applications that integrate key performance indicators (KPIs) and actionable insights into the core activities of various crucial business functions.

Key responsibilities include:

• Understanding business requirements and designing processes that align with business logic.
• Regular communication with business stakeholders to ensure solutions meet business needs.
• Designing and coding BI projects specifically in Power BI.
• Developing comprehensive dashboards and data sources beyond customer expectations.
• Collaborating closely with business information architects to support data strategies and understand business use cases.
• Working with Product Owners and cross-functional teams in an agile environment.
• Applying best practices in data visualization and Power BI implementations.
• Contributing to solution designs in proposals and customer presentations, along with handling demonstrations and proof-of-concepts (POCs).

Qualifications

The ideal candidate should have:

• Over 6 years of programming experience with demonstrated proficiency in Power BI (certification highly preferred).
• A strong understanding of SQL and a basic knowledge of programming languages like SAQL, SOQL, Python, or R.
• The ability to learn new technologies independently.
• Proactivity and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• A strong desire to stay up-to-date with industry technologies and standards.
• Excellent presentation skills, with a knack for simplifying complex ideas into compelling and effective presentations.
• A quick learner with the capacity to understand new functional and technical areas quickly and apply detailed and critical thinking to customer solutions.
