Job Overview

We are seeking to hire a Remote Power BI Developer based in the UK for a 12-month fixed-term contract. In this role, you will collaborate with Product Owners to understand and implement stakeholder reporting requirements from both functional and non-functional perspectives. Our team operates on a two-week Sprint cycle and utilizes Azure DevOps for project management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Designing and developing BI reports and dashboards to provide stakeholders with actionable insights.
  • Managing and ensuring the accuracy of data sets, processing ETL tasks, and implementing quality checks.
  • Creating effective data models and visualizations.
  • Collaborating with various teams to meet their needs and deliver high-quality solutions.
  • Conducting end-user training on utilizing reports and dashboards.
  • Maintaining and troubleshooting Power BI infrastructure.
  • Ensuring robust data security and staying updated with the latest improvements and practices in the field.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a STEM field and profound experience as a BA in software delivery environments.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Power BI or Tableau.
  • Experience in project management and working within cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
  • Familiarity with modern technology stacks, markup languages, and Azure DevOps.
  • Previous experience in the farming or agriculture sector is beneficial but not mandatory.
