Leidos, a leader in the National Security Sector, is seeking a talented Power BI Developer with extensive experience in systems, software, cloud, and Agile methodologies. This role supports the Passenger Systems Program Directorate (PSPD) Interface and Support Processes division within Customs and Border Protection (CBP), advancing crucial Homeland Security initiatives. Job Location and Requirements
Location: Ashburn, VA (Required to be onsite twice a week)
Minimum Qualifications:
- BS/BA degree with a minimum of 8+ years of relevant experience, or 6+ years with a Master’s degree, or 4 years of experience in lieu of a degree
- Minimum 5 years of software development experience, including Oracle & SQL technologies
- Proficiency with MS Office Products (Word, Excel, Visio, & PowerPoint)
- Experience in an Agile/SecDevOps environment
- Must be able to maintain and obtain a CBP Background Investigation prior to start
Key Responsibilities
As a Power BI Developer, you will:
- Support all facets of software development including design, coding, testing, debugging, and maintenance
- Work independently and collaboratively in an Agile SCRUM methodology environment
- Translate customer needs into user stories and deliver functional capabilities at the end of each sprint
- Mentor junior developers to enhance their skills and guide the team in overcoming development challenges
- Lead sprint demonstrations and implement ideas from retrospectives
- Communicate technical challenges and solutions effectively to leaders within Leidos and CBP
Required Expertise
- 7+ years of development experience with Power BI and other visualization tools
- Specialization in Power BI, Data Modeling, and Visualization using Azure Data Services
- Strong understanding and experience in Business Intelligence (BI) and performing data analysis
- Proven ability to develop transactional and strategic reports and dashboards
- Experience in developing data models, queries, reports, and dashboards from multiple data sources
- Experience working with larger datasets
Preferred Qualifications
- Active CBP BI
- Experience as a software developer supporting CBP PSPD products

Compensation
Pay Range: $101,400.00 - $183,300.00. This range serves as a guideline and is not a guarantee of compensation. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include job responsibilities, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and internal equity, as well as alignment with market data and applicable laws.
