Job Description

BETSOL is on the lookout for a Power BI Developer with 2-4 years of extensive Power BI experience.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Understanding business problems and proposing data and analytic solutions to support decision-making
• Developing and testing analytic hypotheses via established methods
• Creating data visualizations that effectively communicate data insights
• Designing, developing, and validating predictive and explanatory models via a range of different models
• Communicating results to diverse audiences
• Managing project documentation

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of practical experience using Power BI
• Power BI Report development, and SQL skillset
• Proven ability to develop custom visualizations as dictated by wireframes
• Experience in building Analysis Services reporting models
• Capability to develop and utilize DAX queries in Power BI desktop
• Developing visual reports, KPI scorecards, and dashboards using Power BI desktop
• Expert in advanced-level calculations with the data set
• Analytical thinker with ability to convert data into informative reports and visuals
• Understanding of PBI Components - Power Query, Power Pivot, Power View, Power BI Desktop, Power BI Website, Power BI Mobile Apps
• Effective communication skills
• Experience with BI tools and systems including Power BI, Tableau, and SAP
• Experience in connecting data sources, importing data, and transforming data for business intelligence
• Capable of developing tabular and multidimensional models that align with data warehouse standards

Additional Information

Preferred Experience:

• Proficiency in reading and coding in SAS
• Experience in fields such as computer science, statistics, data science, mathematics, engineering, or another quantitative field is preferred
• Analytic or operational experience and/or education in Hospital Operations, Public Health, Epidemiology, Pharmacy, Nursing, or other relevant medical fields is beneficial
