Are you passionate about enhancing the reliability of decisions made by artificial intelligence? Do you want to gain experience in a modern and professional team and witness first-hand how research and development in video-based assistance systems are conducted? If so, we have the perfect opportunity for you! We are looking for a team member to join us for six months starting September 2024, focusing on video-based security and assistance systems.

What You Will Do

You will work on a unique web project from requirements gathering and design to implementation. Your contributions will enable us and other scientists to annotate data on a large scale efficiently, pushing the boundaries of current technology. As part of an agile team, you will have the autonomy to manage your tasks and innovate.

What You Bring

You are currently enrolled in a degree in Computer Science, Media Informatics, or a related field. You have initial experience with Python, REST, and frameworks like Django. You are knowledgeable about Clean Code, Design Patterns, Testing, Version Control, and more. A passion for programming and experimenting with new technologies is crucial, as are good German and English language skills.

What You Can Expect

Convenient public transport connections. A six-month internship with ideal conditions for gaining practical experience alongside your studies. You'll work at the interface of the present and the future, with a high degree of personal responsibility and the opportunity to contribute and implement your own ideas. The internship will be conducted on-site at the institute (no remote work).
