Job Description

As a crucial addition to our team, you will play a pivotal role in the development and maintenance of an autonomous model crane. Your tasks will include the assembly and enhancement of existing hardware like motors with controls, cameras, and embedded boards. With your skills, you will also actively participate in the crane software development using ROS 2, and support the integration of existing technologies such as SLAM and motor controls, alongside selecting appropriate hardware and sensors. Moreover, your contributions to generating data for Machine Learning will be invaluable.

Who We're Looking For

An innovative, curious, and team-oriented individual who thrives in a flexible environment. You should work independently and have a structured approach, enjoy development, and bring innovative ideas to the table. Required skills include:

• Basic knowledge in Linux, C(++), Python, and ROS.
• Solid understanding or interest in Signal/Image processing, AI, or Control Theory is desirable.
• Academic background in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related fields.
• Fluency in both German and English.

Additional Information

Start Date: Immediate or as per agreement. Duration: Internship for a minimum of 3 months full-time or a student job for at least 6 months. As an essential requirement for a student position, you must be enrolled in a university program.
