What You Will Do:

As a Principal Data Engineer at Gen, you will:

• Utilize your exceptional Python skills, working extensively with Spark and similar tools.
• Develop and maintain large-scale, high-performance data processing systems, both batch and streaming.
• Manage and enhance data pipelines in production environments on GCP and Azure.
• Create and maintain dashboards, translating the value of data to stakeholders effectively.
• Ensure data integrity and compliance through robust engineering practices in data governance.

What You’ll Need to Succeed:

• Over 7 years of experience in a similar role, leading significant projects that deliver data-driven insights to senior management.
• Proven expertise in optimizing, migrating, and re-architecting large-scale projects.
• A solid understanding of computing systems, software architecture, data structures, and algorithms.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to demystify technical details for a non-technical audience.
• A keen interest in Machine Learning and Cybersecurity advancements.
