About the Role

As a Principal AI/ML-Compiler Expert, you will:

• Architect and lead the development of advanced compiler technologies tailored for AI and machine learning workloads.
• Strategically align and integrate AI compiler technologies with NXP business objectives and product lines.
• Analyze and enhance current AI/ML-compiler frameworks, like Apache TVM or MLIR IREE, to meet emerging needs in neural processing and embedded systems.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with various NXP teams and stakeholders to drive innovation and implementation of AI solutions.
• Stay abreast of industry trends and maintain a strong connection with the AI community, contributing thought leadership through lectures and symposiums.

Who We Are Looking For

You are ideally equipped with:

• A PhD in Computer Science, with deep involvement in Machine Learning, Edge AI, and Embedded Systems.
• Over 8 years of experience in software and hardware engineering within a relevant industry.
• A proven record of significant contributions to the field of embedded machine learning, including hardware/software co-design.
• Expertise in C++, Python, and familiarity with GNU/Linux environments, embedded processors, and machine learning accelerators.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, capable of leading and fostering collaboration in a high-tech environment.
