Join Our Team as a Principal Data Modeler at Two Six Technologies

We are now looking for a skilled Principal Data Modeler to play a pivotal role in developing a future data model that integrates multiple domains within the Department of Defense into one cohesive system.

Role Overview

This position is based in our Arlington, VA office, requiring the successful candidate to work onsite a minimum of four days per week. As a Principal Data Modeler, you will take the lead in crafting a robust data framework that supports strategic military operations and communication.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and refine conceptual, logical, and physical data models based on both customer and business requirements.
• Collaborate with database engineers to promote the evolution of these models.
• Create and maintain standards, guidelines, and documentation for data model design, usage, and upkeep.

Required Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in SQL.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Over 8 years of experience as a backend engineer or systems architect.
• At least 2 years of hands-on data modeling experience.

Desirable Skills

• Familiarity with data model standards, especially cyber-related models like STIX and SCO.
• Experience with data serialization frameworks and various database systems (SQL, NoSQL, etc.).
• Previous experience working with government Command and Control systems.
• Possession of an active DoD clearance (Secret or above) is a major plus.

Clearance Requirements

Candidates should be eligible to obtain and maintain the necessary security clearances required for this role, up to polygraph level.
