Opportunity: Senior Data Scientist in Replenishment Optimization

We are seeking an experienced Senior Data Scientist with expertise in data analytics, resource allocation within supply chains, and strong coding skills to join our dynamic team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Refactor and enhance the efficiency of our Distribution Optimization algorithm using Python and Object-Oriented Programming.
• Apply the latest data science techniques to address complex business issues within the supply chain and optimization domains of Retail and/or CPG industries.
• Develop predictive models and optimization algorithms to refine inventory management, minimize stockouts, and improve resource distribution across the supply chain.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to transform business requirements into robust data-driven solutions.
• Design and conduct experiments to assess the impact of various replenishment strategies and allocation policies.
• Analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to offer well-informed recommendations for ongoing enhancements.
• Stay updated with industry trends, implementing best practices in data science and supply chain management to foster innovation.
• Work alongside and learn from a team of accomplished Data Scientists.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 6 years' experience in Data Science, specializing in replenishment optimization and inventory allocation.
• Advanced degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Operations Research, or related fields.
• In-depth knowledge of statistical methods, optimization and predictive modelling techniques.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Pyspark, and SQL, along with familiarity with relevant data analysis and machine learning libraries.
• Proven ability to tailor analytical models to business scenarios.
• Exceptional communication and collaborative skills to effectively engage with stakeholders and deliver solutions.
