Job Title: Principal - Master Data Management

Job Description

This is an exciting time to join GSK Global Supply Chain. With a growing focus on data and analytics, we have created a new role for a Principal - Master Data Management to help ensure our strategy aligns with manufacturing, quality, and supply chain business needs.

As the Leader, you will build and lead a team of expert MDM professionals. Your responsibilities will include designing, developing, implementing, and maintaining MDM solutions. You'll collaborate with business, product, and operations teams to identify leading solutions that improve data reliability and quality, while also providing technical leadership and mentorship.

You will work with executive and senior leadership across GSK to implement processes and technology solutions that enable data-driven decisions. Additionally, you will ensure seamless data pipelines for data quality measurement and governance.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and implement MDM Product Strategy aligned with Data Strategy and Governance.
• Design and execute the roadmap for MDM tools and technology.
• Develop and maintain end-to-end MDM processes and workflows.
• Integrate MDM Solutions with Data Governance areas like Data Catalog, Metadata Management, and Data Quality.
• Work with cross-functional teams to identify MDM opportunities.
• Influence MDM strategy and design options for program/project efficiency.
• Contribute to planning, direction, and prioritization of projects.
• Participate in Data Integrity programs and influence senior leadership decision-making.
• Communicate technical concepts effectively at all organizational levels.
• Drive tool evaluation and rapid prototyping.
• Promote Data Culture and Data Literacy.

Desired Qualifications

• 12-15 years of experience with a Bachelor's in computer science, software engineering, or a related field.
• Deep knowledge of industries like Life Sciences, Pharmaceutical, Supply Chain, or Manufacturing.
• 10+ years of data ecosystem experience, including Data Warehousing, Data Mart, and Data Lake technologies.
• 5+ years in designing and deploying complex MDM solutions.
• Experience in data development, architecture, and design patterns.
• 3+ years leading technical teams in data management.
• Experience managing cross-functional stakeholder groups.
• Direct experience working with executive and senior leadership.
• Expertise in Industry Standard MDM solutions like SAP MDG, Reltio, Informatica, Stibo, etc.
• Knowledge of data governance, data quality, data security, and data privacy.
• Preferred background in Data Architecture, Data Modelling, and Data Engineering.
• Experience with Azure Cloud is preferred.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and time management skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
