Role Overview: Principal Product Manager - Azure Data Integration

Microsoft’s Azure Data engineering team is at the forefront of transforming analytics through top-tier products such as Microsoft Fabric, Azure SQL DB, Azure Cosmos DB, and more. As a Principal Product Manager in the Azure Data Integration team, you will merge the powers of Power Query and Azure Data Factory to enhance our integration capabilities. By engaging closely with customers and embracing their feedback, you will drive essential improvements and define the future of product experiences. Your work ensures that we capture the vast opportunities presented by a data-centric world.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and execute product strategies to improve Azure’s Data Integration services.
• Collaborate with UX designers and researchers to craft user experiences that delight.
• Offer technical best practices to enhance the success of Azure data integration solutions among partners and customers.
• Gather and integrate feedback from users and the community to steer product enhancements.
• Lead the creation of influential content such as blogs, videos, white papers, and presentations at technical conferences.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field plus at least 8 years in product management, program management, or software development. OR Equivalent experience.
• Strong foundational knowledge in databases, data warehouses, lakehouses, and data integration tools.
• Experience with major cloud services like Azure, AWS, and Google Cloud Platform.
• Proficiency in Business Intelligence tools such as Power BI.
