About the Role: At Gartner, we are on the lookout for a proficient Principal, QUADS (Data Visualization), skilled in crafting both static and interactive data visualizations that enhance client experiences. As an integral part of the Quantitative Innovation team, you will engage with cross-functional teams to interpret, analyze, and convert complex data into clear, visually intuitive narratives. This role supports our commitment to data insight-driven research by improving how we communicate complex information.

Key Responsibilities:

• Interpret data trends and patterns, presenting them in an accessible format.
• Create industry-leading data visualizations that address common and intricate data representation challenges.
• Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to understand their communication needs and provide innovative on-brand design solutions.
• Enhance data visualization creativity, ensuring alignment with our target audience and enhancing customer journeys.
• Use visual storytelling to highlight key insights and narratives drawn from data.
• Keep abreast of the latest trends and best practices in data visualization.
• Commit to handling any project, regardless of size, with enthusiasm and detail.

What You Will Need:

• A Master’s degree in a field related to data visualization or similar disciplines.
• At least 5 years of experience focused on data analytics and visualization.
• Proficiency in tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Demonstrated ability to simplify complex business topics into engaging infographics.
• Experience in designing visual assets and documents that effectively convey information.
• A strong portfolio showcasing your data visualization projects.
• In-depth knowledge of graphic design principles, typography, color theory, and layout.
• Outstanding communication and teamwork skills, thriving in a dynamic, cross-functional team environment.
