Key Responsibilities

As a Principal Software Development Engineer, you will:

• Develop automated pipelines and backend services for query auto-completion, understanding, revenue optimization, and more.
• Collaborate with product managers and stakeholders to enhance user experiences across major verticals like Local, Movies, Sports, Finance, and Shopping.
• Create software solutions for smartphones, tablets, and desktops to boost global audience engagement and revenue.
• Deep dive into technologies like PIG, Oozie, Storm, Spark, and TensorFlow for data extraction, model training, evaluation, and serving.

Requirements

To excel in this role, you should have:

• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python or Perl.
• Strong experience with Java, PIG, Oozie, Spark, and PySpark.
• Expertise in building scalable, reliable systems or applications.
• Knowledge of data mining or machine learning using Hadoop, Spark, TensorFlow, etc.
• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent; a Master's degree is preferred.
• 15+ years of professional experience in relevant fields.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer competitive compensation ranging from $143,625.00 to $299,375.00 per year, depending on your location, skills, and experience. Your package may also include bonus opportunities, equity incentives, healthcare, 401K savings, vacation, sick time, parental leave, and an employee assistance program.
