We are on the lookout for an experienced Big Data Software Engineer to join our Prisma Access team. If you are passionate about coding and developing next-generation technologies, we want you on our team. Your Impact

  • Design and develop scalable software features for our next-generation security platform within the Prisma Access team.
  • Collaborate with development, quality assurance, DevOps, and technical support teams to achieve the highest quality and troubleshoot client issues.
  • Suggest and implement process improvements in the development lifecycle.

Qualifications

Your Career

  • M.S./B.S. in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent military experience required.
  • 10+ years of development experience.
  • Experience developing cloud services and working with Kubernetes.
  • Proficient in building data and analytics pipelines using tools like Dataflow, Pub/Sub, and GKE.
  • Strong understanding of message queuing, stream processing, and scalable ‘big data’ data stores.
  • Experience with RESTful interfaces, build management tools (Gradle, Maven), and continuous integration.
  • Proficient in Test-Driven Development, distributed computing, and object-oriented design.
  • Expertise in designing microservices-based deployments and understanding the full software development lifecycle.
  • Familiar with Agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum Process) and Big Data technologies like Hive, Kafka, Hadoop, SQL.
  • Experience working with GCP or other cloud platforms like AWS and Azure.
  • High energy and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with a proactive attitude.
