Principal Software Engineer - GenAI Platform Development

Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Principal Software Engineer to lead the development of scalable and reusable Generative AI services at Wolters Kluwer. This role is crucial for driving the evolution of AI services within our state-of-the-art collaborative workspace.

What You Will Do

As a Principal Software Engineer, you will:

• Design and implement advanced Generative AI (GenAI) services that form the backbone of various applications.
• Enhance code modularity, reusability, and maintainability across multiple product lines.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to seamlessly integrate AI services into our product ecosystem.
• Analyze and refine existing AI services to boost performance and align with the latest industry standards.
• Mentor other engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence and collective code ownership.
• Keep pace with cutting-edge AI technologies and assess their integration into our services.

Who We Are Looking For

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or related fields, or equivalent professional experience.
• At least 10 years of software development experience, with a minimum of 5 years in AI or machine learning projects.
• Proficiency in AI development languages and frameworks, such as Python and LangChain.
• Experience in building scalable, reusable software components and leadership in software projects.

Preferred Skills:

• Deep understanding of Generative AI, cloud-native development, and cloud services (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Familiarity with container technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Strong communication skills and active contributions to AI and open-source communities.
