Key Responsibilities

As a Principal Software Engineer, you will:

• Design, develop, and maintain comprehensive test automation frameworks to elevate the quality, performance, and scalability of GenAI services.
• Identify and address the unique challenges associated with testing and validating LLM-based models and solutions.
• Work closely with the development team to seamlessly integrate quality processes into the CI/CD pipeline, promoting the early detection and resolution of potential issues.
• Establish and monitor quality metrics and benchmarks, striving for continual enhancements in GenAI service performance.
• Provide leadership and mentorship to a team of quality engineers, guiding best practices and advanced methodologies specific to AI and machine learning technologies.
• Cultivate a culture of quality-first across all engineering teams and stakeholder communications.
• Stay abreith of the latest trends and advancements in AI quality assurance to continuously refine our testing strategies.

Qualifications and Skills

To excel in this role, you should have:

• A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field, or significant professional experience equivalent.
• At least 10 years of experience in software quality engineering and test automation, particularly in projects focusing on AI or machine learning.
• A deep understanding of Large Language Models (LLMs) and proven experience with AI-specific testing methodologies.
• Proficiency in programming languages and tools essential for quality engineering, such as Python, Selenium, and JUnit.
• A robust background in software engineering principles, emphasizing testability and quality.

Preferred Skills

Additionally, ideal candidates will demonstrate:

• Practical experience with GenAI platforms and familiarity with their unique quality challenges.
• Experience with AI-specific testing tools and frameworks, and knowledge of cloud services like AWS, Azure, GCP related to AI quality assurance.
• Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and other technologies relevant to the deployment and testing of AI services.
• Strong communication and leadership abilities, with a proactive approach to influencing and guiding teams towards high standards.
• An active role in the AI and quality assurance communities, contributing to projects, forums, or research.
