Your Role: Principal Statistical Programmer

As a Principal Statistical Programmer, you will be integral to our Drug R&D Programs, developing and executing statistical programming solutions that span the entire drug lifecycle, from discovery to submission and beyond. Your expertise will be crucial in mentoring junior programmers and ensuring the highest standards of quality in deliverables. You will utilize your programming and data management skills to conduct robust statistical analyses, aiding strategic decision-making and advancing our drug development initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee and execute statistical programming tasks for multiple drug development programs.
  • Ensure high-quality outputs adhering to industry and regulatory standards.
  • Compile and manage data sets for regulatory submissions, ensuring strict compliance.
  • Mentor junior statistical programmers to achieve excellence in deliverables.
  • Develop and implement strategic plans for the statistical programming department.
  • Stay updated with the latest programming and statistical methodologies to enhance data processing and analysis.
  • Design, validate, and maintain statistical code for data evaluation.
  • Collaborate with biostatisticians, data management teams, and clinical development partners to establish project specifications and timelines.
  • Serve as the statistical programming authority in interdisciplinary meetings.

Who You Are

  • BS in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or scientific disciplines with 6 years of clinical programming experience; or MS in the same fields with 5 years of experience.
  • Expertise in R programming required; SAS and Python programming skills desired.
  • Strong understanding of statistical methodologies for analyzing study data and generating outputs.
  • Knowledge of ICH, Good Clinical Practices, regulatory requirements, and clinical data submission standards (CDISC).
  • Proven ability to interact successfully with cross-functional teams, demonstrating a strong team spirit.
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills, capable of conveying complex analytical insights effectively.
  • Fluent in English with exceptional collaboration abilities.
  • Strategic thinker with a proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement.
