Job Overview:
Join IQVIA as a Principal Statistical Programmer and leverage your expertise to develop advanced methodologies that meet the needs of both internal and external clients across complex projects and studies. You will be responsible for planning and coordinating the development of integrated programming solutions, catering to all statistical programming requirements. Your role also includes providing internal consulting services, analyzing user needs, and meeting complex project or client specifications.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and implement programming, testing, and documentation of statistical programs for creating tables, figures, and listing for complex studies.
• Program analysis datasets (derived datasets) and transfer files for both internal and external clients.
• Conduct programming quality control checks for source data and periodically report data issues.
• Interpret project-level requirements and develop appropriate programming specifications for complex studies.
• Provide advanced technical expertise independently and in conjunction with clients to bring project solutions to Statistical Programming (SP) teams.
• Lead technical teams for single complex studies or a group of studies.
• Communicate directly with internal and client statisticians and clinical team members to ensure a clear understanding of requirements and timelines.
• Estimate programming scope, manage resource assignments, communicate project status, and negotiate deliverable timelines.
• Promote and use established standards, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and best practices.
• Provide training and mentoring to SP team members.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Maths, Computer Science, Statistics, or related field.
• 7+ years of Statistical Programming experience within the Life Sciences Industry.
• Lead experience is essential.
• Advanced knowledge of statistics, programming, and clinical drug development processes.
• Advanced knowledge of relevant Data Standards (e.g., CDISC/ADaM/SDTM).
• Strong efficacy experience.
• Advanced knowledge of computing applications such as Base SAS, SAS Graph, and SAS Macros.
