Role Overview

Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities

The Senior Statistical Programmer Analyst/Consultant plays a critical role in the delivery of technical programming and information components of a project. Under the guidance of a Programming team leader, you will lead and support various programming efforts.

Key Responsibilities

• Supporting the Programming deliveries of clinical studies or projects
• Implementing statistical programming aspects of protocols and clinical development programs
• Ensuring high-quality deliverables and standards compliance
• Programming independently with efficiency and quality
• Writing and implementing specifications and overseeing documentation completeness
• Contributing to the development of best practices for improved quality and efficiency
• Planning and supporting team activities and tasks
• Communicating and managing risks within assigned studies and projects
• Collaborating proactively with study team members, including the Statistician, Lead Programmer, Data Manager, and Study Leader

Education and Experience

Applicants must have:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science (CS), statistics, or related scientific disciplines with a minimum of 6 years of clinical programming (CDISC) experience; or
• Master's degree in CS, statistics, or related disciplines with a minimum of 7 years of clinical programming (CDISC) experience
• Experience in Oncology Therapeutic Area (TA)
• Working knowledge of ICH and Good Clinical Practices, clinical research, clinical trial processes, and related regulatory requirements
• Strong communication and coordination skills
• Proficient ability to manage concurrent activities within a project
• Ability to influence relevant stakeholders on programming-related items
