Role Overview: Manager, Procurement Analyst

As a Manager, Procurement Analyst within the Procurement Strategy & Delivery Team, you will develop analytical solutions to help achieve procurement objectives and key performance indicators (KPIs).

Key Responsibilities

  • Handle data and analytics for the Procurement Strategy & Delivery team, including but not limited to Supplier Diversity, Supplier Relationship Management, TPRM, Compliance, Procurement Policies, and Risk Management.
  • Collaborate with the team to define reporting and analytics requirements; work with appropriate teams to extract, cleanse, and maintain data.
  • Ensure timely reporting for procurement performance indicators and program KPIs, from data extraction to visualization in dashboards.
  • Develop analytical solutions, perform data analysis, generate insights, and provide senior management reports with data visualizations.
  • Provide actionable insights using multiple data sources to deliver significant business value.
  • Ensure data integrity and transparency across all systems, maintaining high data quality.
  • Work closely with Procurement business partners (Tech, Finance, HR, etc.), building and transferring knowledge on Haleon’s data and BI.
  • Keep updated on advanced analytics, industry best practices, and future technologies. Create best-practice reports based on data mining, analysis, and visualization.
  • Develop custom data models and algorithms to apply to procurement datasets, and build scripts to make the data evaluation process more flexible or scalable.
  • Manage day-to-day activities to support Procurement Team Leads, handling escalations, operational calls, transitions, stakeholder relationships, and system changes.
  • Perform tasks related to Third Party Risk Management.
  • Effectively resolve issues related to the Source-to-Contract process, offering innovative solutions and streamlining processes.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Expertise in Data Analytics with strong technical, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
  • Experience in procurement (solution provider, consultant, or practitioner) including spend analytics, contract management, sourcing, supplier management, and compliance.
  • Understanding of data architecture, data quality processes, and data modeling.
  • Proficiency in visualization tools like Power BI and Excel (including VBA), with high numeracy and accuracy.
  • Ability to produce professional, accurate, and timely reports for senior stakeholders.
  • Ability to work under pressure with close attention to data.
  • Capability to act autonomously, plan and organize tasks, and solve problems creatively and effectively.
  • Experience with SAP procurement solutions (SAP ECC, SAP Ariba) is preferred.
  • Knowledge in statistical methods, machine learning, and programming skills such as Python and R is preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with fluency in English.
  • Experience in the FMCG and Consumer Health industries is preferred.
