We are looking for a Product Owner with strong academic qualifications and practical experience in Natural Language Processing (NLP) and contract analytics to head our Contract and Content Analytics team. The successful applicant will lead a skilled, diverse team, and will be accountable for defining the product strategy and creating an analytical framework to implement and evaluate NLP solutions for various applications.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and carry out the product vision and strategy for Contract and Content analytics solutions.
• Create and guide the implementation of solutions using Large Language Models (LLMs) for various analytical tasks like document summarization, contract review, and document generation.
• Build and manage a team of AI engineers and data scientists to ensure successful implementation and maintenance of LLM-based solutions.
• Create an analytical framework to evaluate the effectiveness and impact of NLP solutions on contract analytics and formulate a methodology to measure success.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business, engineering, data science, and design units to prioritize and deliver product features and enhancements that improve the accuracy, efficiency, and effectiveness of contract analytics.
• Develop and maintain relationships with external stakeholders including customers, partners, and vendors to stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies relevant to NLP and contract analytics.
• Establish and maintain collaborations with industry experts and academia to broaden our capabilities.
• Oversee the development of large training datasets, data preprocessing pipelines, and testing frameworks.
• Publication of papers, articles, and other media to represent Verisk in industry forums and publications.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in product management or a related field, preferably in the legal and/or insurance industry.
• Masters degree in Technology, PhD preferred.
• Strong technical background with hands-on experience with NLP technology and implementation of analytical frameworks.
• Experience with AI platform software and hardware ecosystem in one or more areas such as Deep Learning Frameworks, Large Language Models, Generative AI, Cloud.
• Experience with contract analytics or similar domains.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.
• Proven track record of developing and launching successful products that meet customer needs and drive business results.
• Familiarity with legal and regulatory requirements in the Property & Casualty insurance industry would be a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to use data to make informed decisions.
