Key Responsibilities

As a Product Data Engineer, you will:

  1. Assist in standardizing and developing Bills of Materials for all products.
  2. Manage data and product changes through our Engineering Change Process.
  3. Interact with CAD systems to ensure the accuracy of design information.
  4. Implement and support configuration and technical product information.
  5. Provide technical support for product data queries from various teams.
  6. Maintain product documentation and ensure the accuracy of all technical product information.
  7. Manage product certifications, including scheduling and overseeing product testing.
  8. Stay updated with emerging trends in the fenestration industry and explore opportunities for innovation.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Material Science Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience in product data management, engineering, or a related technical role.
  • Strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication skills across various levels and business functions.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; familiarity with various CAD software and Smartsheet is a plus.
  • A background in fenestration products and knowledge of building codes is advantageous.
