Job Description:

We are looking for a dedicated Product Owner to join our Image Quality and X-ray Physics department within the Imaging Chain Cluster of the IGT Fixed Systems R&D organization at Philips. In this role, you will be instrumental in maintaining the high quality and performance standards of imaging components, including tubes, generators, and collimators, in our Image Guided Therapy Systems.

Your Responsibilities Include:

  • Maintaining the integrity and performance of imaging components.
  • Assisting in redesigns to improve quality, patient safety, reliability, and serviceability.
  • Collaborating with teams across R&D, test and validation, norm compliance, quality, and procurement departments.
  • Supporting our factory in addressing quality non-conformances with suppliers.
  • Facilitating regulatory submission activities to meet all relevant medical standards and regulations, complaint investigations, and post-market surveillance.

You are a Part of:

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering.
  • At least 5 years of experience as an engineer in an R&D setting.
  • Profound knowledge in Design, Development & Lifecycle Management.
  • Strong quality-orientation and documentation skills.
  • Excellent communication abilities for effective collaboration with suppliers and internal stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in the Healthcare industry.
  • Expertise in X-ray tubes, collimators, and generators.
  • Familiarity with IGT systems.
  • Design for Six Sigma - Green or Black Belt certification.
