Production Software Engineer (Big Data Support) Job Opportunity at Oracle

Job Responsibilities

As a Production Software Engineer, you will:

• Troubleshoot and analyze complex production issues
• Own, debug, and document complex investigations and resolutions
• Propose and lead process improvement projects
• Utilize in-depth knowledge of architecture and data models to prevent or resolve issues
• Perform root-cause analysis and implement preventive actions
• Share knowledge within the team through mentorship, coaching, technical talks, and blogs

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field, or relevant work experience
• 3-4 years of experience in Production Operations / Support
• Experience supporting Big Data Operations/Support, preferably with Hadoop Map-Reduce background
• Strong technical hands-on capability to troubleshoot issues independently
• Ability to work in shifts on a monthly rotation basis
• Excellent communication skills with an ability to interact with stakeholders globally
