Program Manager - Data Analytics and Process Optimization - Sourcing / Supplier Quality
Job Description Summary
Join GE HealthCare and lead impactful Sourcing & Supplier Quality (SQD) process improvement initiatives. You will manage critical reporting and data integration platforms, develop solutions for statistical and data analytical challenges, and implement modern methods to derive structure and value from varied data sets. Play a pivotal role in resolving data/process issues, managing service delivery projects, and ensuring the achievement of both short-term and long-term program goals.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to execute Lean Six Sigma strategies for process improvement.
- Deliver breakthrough levels of process capability improvements through Lean Six Sigma training and tools.
- Facilitate team members in using Lean and Automation tools for enhanced efficiency.
- Work with operational excellence leaders to identify and execute lean opportunities.
- Monitor and improve supplier quality and delivery performance to meet business needs.
- Partner with key stakeholders to ensure services align with business requirements.
- Drive strategy through integration, adoption, and simplification of analytic solutions.
- Collaborate with IT program managers, client leaders, and executive development leaders to ensure service level agreements (SLAs) are met.
- Identify and complete projects to improve internal processes, reduce TCO, and provide relevant metrics.
- Maintain effective working relationships with functional leaders, peers, and vendors.
- Stay updated with enabling technologies for improved application availability, maintainability, and scalability.
- Ensure data integrity goals are met for supplier quality within targeted applications.
- Advise on application and technology purchases and future project upgrades.
- Provide basic user training sessions and constantly seek and implement best practices.
- Apply Lean Six Sigma tools to improve process capability and eliminate defects.
- Facilitate cross-functional projects for continuous improvement and productivity.
- Serve as a recognized expert in a specific process focus area.
- Communicate team progress to program and business leaders.
- Propose process technology improvements and capital expenditures.
- Identify potential process improvement projects.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, STEM, or related technical discipline or equivalent.
- 9+ years of experience with technical knowledge in Sourcing/Sourcing processes.
- Green Belt/Black Belt certification in Lean Six Sigma.
- 3+ years of relevant experience in data warehousing and BI technologies.
- Understanding of Quality Management Systems and CAPA requirements in the med tech industry.
- Experience with complex ERP systems like SAP or Oracle.
- Experience with Oracle Analytics Service, Spotfire, Power BI.
- 3-4 years of project execution experience using Lean Six Sigma methodology.
- 2+ years of experience in IT Services/BPO Program environment.
- Proven experience in influencing, leading teams, and driving change.
- Effective team player with strong communication skills.
- Able to simplify strategies into actionable steps.
- Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills.
- Proven facilitation experience.
