Key Responsibilities

As a Program Manager for Data Governance at Applied Materials, you will:

  • Define specific project and program objectives for areas of responsibility, ensuring preliminary activities such as determining outcomes, milestones, viability studies, and resource planning are completed.
  • Manage projects and programs in accordance with predetermined requirements, focusing on product/process specifications, costs, resource utilization, and timely completion.
  • Document all phases of project, program, and process development, ensuring information is reported, disseminated, or transferred to necessary functional areas.
  • Comply with company policies regarding Engineering/Lab notebooks, patents, confidentiality, and safety.
  • Ensure the effective utilization of all material and financial resources.
  • Collaborate with other staff to maximize productivity for projects and programs.
  • Lead research and development of new technologies, integrating new processes, designs, and methodologies into Applied Materials products/services.

Additional Physical Requirements

This role may require you to:

  • Stand for extended periods and walk through tight spaces.
  • Bend, squat, twist, kneel, and reach.
  • Work in environments with varying noise levels and use hand and power tools.
  • Work in a clean room and wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) such as coveralls, hoods, booties, safety glasses, gloves, respirators, chemical aprons, and face shields.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills to communicate complex concepts and negotiate different viewpoints.

Qualifications

To qualify for this position, you should have:

  • Education: Doctorate Degree
  • Experience: 7-10 years of relevant work experience

The salary offered to a selected candidate will be based on multiple factors, including location, hire grade, job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and internal equity with our current team members. Besides a comprehensive benefits package, candidates may also be eligible for other forms of compensation such as participation in a bonus and stock award program. For all sales roles, the posted salary range represents the Target Total Cash (TTC) range, which is the sum of base salary and the target bonus amount at 100% goal achievement.
