About the Role:

The PDO team is essential in supplying the data and insights that fuel the AI powering all of Meta's products. As a Project Manager within this team, you will be pivotal in managing complex data operations, including data labeling, collection, and annotation programs. This role requires a deep collaboration across various departments— from Product and Engineering to Legal and Privacy—ensuring that our projects enhance Meta's product offerings effectively and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop operational strategies that align with product team objectives, ensuring the implementation of efficient and effective processes.
  • Manage day-to-day operations, metrics, and workflows of vendor teams engaged in data labeling.
  • Engage proactively with multiple stakeholders to scope new projects and optimize existing ones, driving decisions that nurture product enhancements and operational excellence.
  • Lead, mentor, and influence others within the team, fostering a collaborative and result-oriented environment.

Professional Experience and Qualifications:

Our ideal candidate will bring a robust portfolio of skills and experiences:

  • Minimum of 8 years in a consumer-oriented product environment, consulting, operations, or a project management role.
  • Strong leadership presence in cross-functional settings, with exemplary communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Adept in data-driven decision making and experienced in handling complex, ambiguous projects.
  • Preferred: Proficiency in SQL, experience with AI/ML technologies, and a Master’s degree in Information Systems, Operations Management, or similar.
