Job Summary

At Vertiv, we are on the lookout for a talented and skilled Prompt Engineer - Generative AI to join our dynamic team. This full-time position is based at our headquarters in Westerville, OH. Key Responsibilities

As a Prompt Engineer, you will:

• Develop and refine prompts for text, image, and video generation, including tasks like summarization and sentiment analysis.
• Implement prompt engineering best practices, such as Few Shot and Chain of Thought Prompting, to ensure high-quality and effective AI interactions.
• Collaborate closely with product managers and other engineers to deliver solutions that meet and exceed user expectations.
• Address and resolve any issues related to prompt performance and functionality.
• Research and integrate ethical practices in AI prompting to minimize biases and uphold data integrity.

Requirements

To be considered for this pivotal role, you should have:

• A Bachelor’s Degree in a field related to natural language processing, such as linguistics or computer science.
• At least 3 years of experience in a related role, with proficiency in technologies like OpenAI GPT-4, Meta Llama2, or Hugging Face Transformers.
• Expertise in Python and familiarity with natural language processing and generative AI principles.
• Experience with prompt development tools such as OpenAI Playground or Google Colab.

Preferred candidates will have knowledge of web development technologies and experience with DevOps tools.
