We are currently looking for a Prospect Management Analyst I to join our Prospect Development team. This role is vital in ensuring that prospective donors are effectively engaged throughout the solicitation cycle, contributing to the growth and success of the university.

Occupational Summary

The Prospect Management Analyst will engage in a broad range of activities including the collection, analysis, and documentation of data related to prospective donors. This position works closely with fundraisers across the university and reports directly to the Associate Director of Prospect Management.

Key Responsibilities

Prospect Management

Your duties will include processing department requests like prospect team assignments, managing inquiries, and ensuring data integrity. You will develop strategies to enhance the managed prospect pool, produce relevant reports, and provide recommendations based on data analysis. Customizing and implementing prospect strategies and supporting strategic meetings are also crucial parts of your role.

Relationship Management

You will assist in fostering valuable relationships with stakeholders, optimizing portfolio systems, and implementing best practices across a decentralized network. Your efforts will focus on improving communication, collaboration, and overall outcomes in donor relationship and solicitation processes.

Preferred Skills

The ideal candidate will possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, expertise in Microsoft Excel, and familiarity with analytics tools like Tableau or SQL. Independent judgment, initiative, and a strong commitment to data integrity and confidentiality are required.

Preferred Experience

We prefer candidates with at least one year of related experience, particularly in prospect development within higher education settings. Experience with university constituent database systems is also advantageous.
