Key Responsibilities:

As a Python Data Engineer, your main responsibilities will include:

• Analyzing requirements and designing technical solutions.
• Developing and optimizing database architectures along with Python ETL scripts.
• Ensuring seamless integration of databases with existing infrastructure for improved data management.
• Creating robust Python code across various projects, integrating with ReST APIs.
• Enhancing our Git-based version control frameworks.
• Writing comprehensive unit tests to meet code coverage standards.
• Producing detailed documents and designs that adhere to predefined structures.
• Developing sophisticated database schemas and data integration strategies.
• Providing thorough documentation to support data management and IT integration strategies.
• Training peers and developing educational materials to boost database and application development skills within the company.

What You'll Bring to the Team:

Your qualifications should include:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Mathematics, Physics, or a related field.
• At least 6 years of professional experience in software engineering, focusing on Python and SQL.
• Proficiency in object-oriented programming and software design patterns.
• Experience with automated Python testing frameworks like unit-test and pytest.
• Skilled in Python libraries such as NumPy and Pandas, and formats like XML, JSON, and YAML.
• Expertise in Git version control systems.
• Experience with data-mart development, SQL database design, and ETL pipeline creation.
• Fluency in English, minimum B2 level.
