Key Responsibilities

  • Improve analytics and modelling to enhance commercial activities.
  • Develop trade capabilities, providing innovative solutions and building synergies across product lines.
  • Create a scalable quant platform, driving efficiency and unifying methodologies.
  • Build pricing and modelling structures for Renewables/PPA, battery, short-/long-term price curves, and FlexTech (e.g., electrolyser, e-boiler).
  • Collaborate closely with Trading, Structuring, BD, and Fundamentals teams.
  • Contribute to key commercial decisions with a risk-informed approach.
  • Standardize processes and platforms across EMEA trading and BD.
  • Identify and prioritize new market opportunities.
  • Ensure high quality and governance in data and analytics.

What’s Required

  • Strong experience in commercial/quantitative roles, particularly in Renewables/PPA, battery, Flex/NewTech, spot markets, and analytics.
  • Advanced skills in Python, machine learning, and commercial quant modelling.
  • Ability to quickly understand and act upon commercial opportunities under time pressure.
  • Sound understanding of credit, market, and financial risk.
  • Effective stakeholder management and excellent communication skills.
  • A proactive and “can do” attitude.
